I believe we can learn about ourselves by learning from the people we meet everyday. I have been blessed to have met many individuals over the years with compelling life stories. Stories that must be shared.

I just read a book by John Maxwell called Leadership 101. There were many great points in this book, but it sparked my thinking regarding the topic on "leaving a legacy." Maxwell quotes a friend of his by stating "Success is not measured by what you're leaving to, but what you are leaving behind." I believe that with each passing day, week, month or year, we should take some time to reflect on those we meet. After all, they are playing a small part in shaping the future for the generations to come, one day at a time.
